The first of May every year is a special day for all fashion enthusiasts across the world as this marks the day of the annual MET Gala. Each year designers push the boundaries of fashion and this year was no different. The theme for 2017 was Comme des Garçons, French for “like some boys”, a Japanese label founded by Rei Kawakubo. Here are a few stand out celebrities from the 2017 Met Gala.
Fashion icon Rihanna arrived dressed in Comme des Garçons.
Cara Delevingne dressed in a silver Chanel suit, nailing this year’s theme.
All eyes were on power couple, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Teigen arrived in a custom made Marchesa gown and Legend was dressed in a Burberry suit which complimented Teigen’s gown to perfection.
And our very own Ruby Rose made her Met Gala debut in an elegant plunging Burberry gown.
