Of the millions of thoughts running through our minds at any given moment, many of them are the opposite of loving. These negative thoughts will take up so much space within you and therefore not leave any room for welcoming goodness and positivity.
Interrupt the internal mean-girl voice every single day and silence your inner critic, not just now, but for the rest of your life:
In a quiet moment, go through the list of ways you attack yourself.
Next to each attack write: I forgive this and I release this. Setting the intention to forgive yourself sets the practice in motion.
This practice is great to do whenever you detour into fear-based thoughts or actions. For instance, if you catch yourself judging someone or yourself, immediately say, “I forgive this and I release this.” Instantly you will feel released from the attack thought and you will center back into a place of peace.
Whenever you notice self-attack set in, simply say, “I forgive myself and I release this thought.” Use this practice whenever you need it to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself.
You will certainly notice the difference in your energy and zest for life!
