05 Jul Willow Smith Named New Chanel Ambassador
At only 15 years of age, style icon Willow Smith has just been announced the new Chanel ambassador for 2016. The teen is known for her unique, youthful style and never being afraid to push the fashion limits.
Starring in her first Chanel campaign for Chanel Eyewear Fall/Winter 2016 Willow now joins the list of A-list celebrities and past Chanel ambassadors; Lily Rose Depp, Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne and Blake Lively.

Willow looked fiercer than ever announcing her position at the end of the Chanel Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear show. She flaunted her take on the brand in a way that only she could pull off; sporting a metallic black Chanel jumpsuit paired with classic two-tone Chanel booties.
Gracing the covers of publications like Wonderland and starring in campaigns for Marc Jacobs, the 15 year old can be seen to be the perfect match to enhance Chanel as a brand and bring a diverse, edgier and youthful perspective.

Power-house Chanel released the statement that “a multifaceted artist, writer-composer-singer, and actress, Willow Smith is the embodiment of her generation’s spirit. Her youth and energy charmed Karl Lagerfeld who was invited her to join the family of Chanel muses.”
Willow told Teen Vogue that “I feel like there is so much creativity going on that I want to inject some of my ideas and some of my energy into the brand, because I feel like there’s a lot of things that come from youth nowadays that need to be expressed and amplified to the world”.
